Munchkins Childcare
My name is Gemma Hampson and I have worked at Munchkins Childcare for 8 wonderful years and became Munchkins Manager in 2015. I love working and playing with children and watch them learn and develop their skills and become capable little learners.
I believe that happy, secure children will make the most their early play experiences and in Munchkins we feel privileged to be part of their learning.
Our ethos in Munchkins is that ‘Every Experience is a Learning Experience’ from putting on their own coat to holding a pencil correctly. We celebrate all their little steps of progress.

- Christmas Songs at the Well Being Centre12Dec2019

We will be walking down to the Well Being Centre to sing our Christmas songs. Children will walk down within their nursery session in the morning. Any parent helpers would be greatly appreciated, if you are able to help please could you let the office know as soon as possible. Please note that you will not necessarily walk with your own child. Parent helpers to be at nursery school for 10.15am. If your child does not normally attend nursery on a Thursday but would like to take part then please feel free to join us at the Well Being Centre at 10.30am.

- Nativity Performance18Dec2019
10:30 am - 12:00 pm @ Nursery School
Our nativity performance will take place on Wednesday 18th December 2019 at 10.30am. Tickets for the performance are restricted to 2 tickets per child and cost £2 per ticket which includes a mince pie! Tickets will be on sale from today and two tickets will be allocated to each child. Tickets not purchased before Wednesday 11th December will be released to go on sale as extras. All the children are invited to take part in the nativity, if you child does not normally attend on a Wednesday morning please bring them in for 10.00am so that they can change into their costume. All costumes will be provided by Nursery School. Many thanks.

Our Christmas Party is on Thursday 19th December in the morning and we would like to ask you to contribute to our party feast! Please sign your name up on the party food list in reception to contribute. Please may we also ask that cakes and biscuits are shop bought and unopened, many thanks! We will give the children the party food at the end of the morning session so if your child is staying for lunch you will only need to provide a small snack and drink. If you child does not attend on a Thursday morning but would like to come to the party then please email bursar@moorgate.lancs.sch.uk to secure a place.
