Celebrating 75 Years! - May 2021

The rain didn’t stop us from having a fabulous celebration for our wonderful Moorgate turning 75 years old!  As part of the celebrations staff and children came dressed up in 1940’s clothes and had a fantastic day!  As well as enjoying a picnic, we sang happy birthday with Nicola’s amazing Moorgate cake, the Deputy Mayor and Mayoress of West Lancashire helped us bury our time capsule, we listened to 1940s music and danced, met ‘Blitzy Bear’, looked at old photographs and even played some games from the past!

We thanked our lovely Amanda for giving the children of Moorgate 20 years of love and care.   

 We would also like to thank our wonderful Chair of Governors, Janet Davies and Mr Thompson’s Bakery for our gingerbread, The Cricketers for letting us borrow their gingerbread figure and Morrison’s for their donations of cups and squash for the children to enjoy with their sandwiches.
